Return and Refund Policy
1. Warranty
Flix Ecommerce Ltd, trading as Aluma, provides a one-year limited warranty on the Aluma Red Light Cap from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur during normal use when the product has been used, stored and maintained in accordance with the supplied instructions.
Where a valid warranty claim is approved, we may provide:

Replacement components
-
A replacement product
-
A repair, where appropriate
-
Another remedy required by applicable law
Our standard approach is to repair or replace a defective product where reasonably possible.
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory consumer rights.
The warranty does not cover:

Improper use or care
-
Accidental damage
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect operation

Damage caused by liquids, excessive moisture or improper storage
-
Damage caused by unauthorised modification or repair
-
Use with an incompatible charger, power supply or accessory
-
Failure to follow the product instructions or safety guidance
-
Products purchased from an unauthorised seller
-
Products that have already been fully refunded
2. Returns and Refunds
2.1 Return Eligibility
Aluma offers a 30-day return period, beginning on the date your order is delivered.
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must be:

Unused
-
Undamaged
-
In its original condition
-
In its original packaging
-
Complete with all accessories, manuals and components
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
-
Returned with any protective hygiene seal intact
The Aluma Red Light Cap is a personal-use product designed to be worn directly on the head and scalp.
Where the product is supplied in protective hygiene-sealed packaging, it may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return once the hygiene seal has been broken, removed or tampered with, where permitted by applicable law.
This restriction does not affect your rights where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
You must contact us before returning an item. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
Once your return has been approved, we will provide return instructions. The item must be shipped within 15 calendar days of receiving those instructions unless otherwise agreed.
Unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
2.2 Statutory Cancellation Rights
Customers may have additional cancellation and return rights under applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any statutory right that cannot legally be excluded.
Where statutory rights provide greater protection than this policy, those statutory rights will apply.
2.3 Refund Processing
Once the returned product has been received, we will inspect it and confirm whether the refund has been approved.
Inspection may take up to 14 business days.
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method and in the original purchase currency.
Banks and payment providers may require additional time to process the refund after it has been issued.
Where the original payment method is no longer available, the customer may need to contact their bank or payment provider.
Shipping charges are not normally refundable unless:

The product was damaged before delivery

Applicable law requires the shipping charge to be refunded
2.4 Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.
Contact us promptly if:

You received the wrong product

The packaging shows serious transit damage
We may request:

Photographs of the product

Photographs of the packaging

Where a fault is confirmed, we may provide a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy required by law.
2.5 Non-Returnable Items
Subject to applicable law, the following may not qualify for a change-of-mind return:

Products with a broken or removed hygiene seal

Products contaminated with hair products, oils, skincare products or other substances

Personalised products

Gift cards
-
Final-sale or clearance items where legally permitted

Products damaged after delivery

Products missing components or accessories
Faulty products remain covered by applicable consumer rights regardless of the above restrictions.
2.6 Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges.
The quickest method is normally to return the eligible product and place a separate order for the replacement product.
2.7 Product Results
The warranty covers the operation of the Aluma Red Light Cap. It does not guarantee a particular cosmetic, wellness or hair-related outcome.
Results may vary between users depending on factors including consistency of use, individual biology, health, age, underlying conditions and other treatments being used.
A lack of a particular result does not, by itself, mean that the product is defective.
